  • AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE AND LIGHT REPAIR
  • Students are prepped for employment and receive specialized training in today's highly technical automotive industry. Representatives from local automotive companies share experience and connect students to career opportunities. Students receive hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment and can earn the following certifications: ASE*, SP/2*, and ASE* Entry-Level.

  • BARBERING
  • CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES
  • The program prepares students to enter into career fields such as carpentry, mason, electrical, plumbing, and architecture. Students receive hands-on training and are exposed to state-of-the-art technologies. They complete the Home Builders Institute pre-apprenticeship curriculum which provides students with valuable hands-on experience that can lead to an Apprenticeship. Students may earn certifications in PACT Core and Building Construction Technologies, as well as Basic Carpentry and Electrical.

  • BUSINESS AND FINANCE
  • CULINARY ARTS AND BAKING (DUAL ENROLLMENT OPTION)
  • The priority of this program is training future chefs, restaurant employees, managers, and owners. The students will master the art of dining room management, baking, and culinary excellence in our full-service facility. Students experience every aspect of the culinary field from the front of the house to the back of the house. Certifications include ServSafe Certified Food Manager and SafeStaff Certified FoodHandler.

  • INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (DUAL ENROLLMENT OPTION)
  • This program specializes in training students for today's dynamic high-tech world. Much more than your standard web design class, this program offers students the skill set needed to work on hardware, software, and network challenges facing current and future IT professionals. National certifications include IT Specialist certifications, Comp Tia A+ *, Network+*, and Security+*. 

  • INTRO TO FIRE FIGHTING (DUAL ENROLLMENT OPTION)
  • Students in this program are prepared with the technical knowledge and skills needed for careers such as firefighter, emergency medical technician, and dispatcher. This course provides real world experiences instructed by field experts. In addition to coursework, students can earn Fire 1 certification through dual enrollment.

  • WELDING (DUAL ENROLLMENT OPTION)
  • The welding program prepares students for employment in a variety of welding- related occupations in the manufacturing, industrial, or utility industries. Students will learn basic to intermediate skills of the major welding processes as well as blueprint reading and pipe welding principles. The program combines classroom theory and hands-on learning. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to become AWS Certified Welders. Students completing the first two courses of the program will earn 300 hours towards the post-secondary Welding program at Marion Technical College.
